Ifield Properties was founded in 2011 and is a specialist commercial real estate services and asset consultancy firm offering expertise over all aspects of property investment and ownership.
Our leadership team can draw on several decades of experience through working for global institutional investment managers, leading international real estate advisors and major corporate property occupiers. Ifield Properties is UK based but can also offer its clients the benefit of the leadership team's collective expertise having worked in France, Germany, Switzerland and Spain.
We can assist across all property sectors and are advising on substantial infrastructure projects.
Ifield Properties is highly focused on client care and seeks to find solutions designed to meet their specific needs and required outcomes for each and every instruction. We believe our service should extend far beyond the transacting of real estate and often begins with the creation and implementation of comprehensive business plans and/or asset management strategies.
Ifield Properties are well versed in putting together specialist project teams and working alongside leading consultants (lawyers, planning advisors, agents, developers etc.) and major banks seeking to engineer value both pre- and post-acquisition.
Meet the Team
Director
Peter Strouts
Peter Strouts started his career at JLL and LaSalle IM in 2001, before moving onto CBRE Corporate Finance in 2004 based in their Paris and London offices, and then joining DTZ as a Director in Geneva, Switzerland in 2009. He successfully advised clients including Aviva on their development JVs with Pinewood for Shepperton Studios and with C&C on a site in St Ouen, Paris, Chelsea Football Club on their potential redevelopment and Network Rail on their interest in the Shard.
Peter founded Ifield Properties in 2012, and has successfully advised investors including Rianta Capital, Revcap, Network Rail, Legal & General and Arcano IM on strategy and acquisitions in the UK and Spain. He has worked closely with rail freight specialist advisors and rail land owners on freight strategies and sites to develop in the UK, France and Spain. Peter is fluent in French and a proficient speaker of Spanish.

Andrew Friend
Andrew Friend is a former Managing Director at Nuveen Real Estate (NRE), previously Henderson Global Investors, where he spent 20 years holding various senior roles including Fund Manager, Head of Investor Relations, Fund Director of the Henderson PAIF and latterly Head of European Housing.
He was a permanent member of the European Investment Committee and held a number of Board positions for Nuveen funds in Jersey and Luxembourg. During his time at Nuveen he has worked in both London and Frankfurt. Prior to Nuveen he held senior roles at Metro Asset Management, Boots Properties and Pearl Assurance.
Andrew is a Chartered Surveyor and Founding Partner of Friend+Friend real estate consultancy. He holds the IMC and was a member of the Investment Property Forum from 2014-20.

Simon Ives
Simon Ives has worked in logistics property since 1987, when he worked for Asda. He acquired the land and instructed main contractors for seven new regional distribution centres in locations from Grangemouth down to Bristol and Dartford. After a period in private practice he was subsequently a director – with an operational brief in addition to property – of two private logistics businesses.
Simon joined EWS Railway (now DB Cargo) as Head of Property in 2007. In that role he realised value totalling almost £300m whilst growing the company’s rental income by some 65% on a like-for-like basis. Simon set up his own consultancy business in 2016.
Past and present clients include Associated British Ports, Schenker Logistics, GB Railfreight, Maritime Transport amongst others. He recently drafted a Freight Property Strategy for the Great British Railways Transition Team (Network Rail).
